Major Responsibilities Held with the Group

Mr Chen is responsible for running CLP’s China business portfolio with assets encompassing a wide range of energy technologies from nuclear, coal, hydro, wind and solar power, as well as developing high quality renewable and zero-carbon projects.

Mr Chen is also a Director of various subsidiary companies** and affiliated companies⁺ of the CLP Group.

Past Experience

Mr Chen joined CLP, through the Executive Programme, in 2002. He held various managerial positions across CLP Holdings, CLP Power Hong Kong, and CLP China, where his responsibilities covered corporate strategy and development, business planning, asset management, fuel procurement and nuclear.
